CRM & ERP Actions
The actions Sarj can take in your back-office systems during a conversation, and the controls that keep them safe.
An action is a step Sarj takes in one of your systems while the conversation is still going: looking something up, changing a record or starting a process. Actions are what turn an answered call into a finished one.
Kinds of action
Look up
Read a customer's record, order, balance, policy or appointment so the answer is about them, not general information.
Update
Change a record the customer is entitled to change: a delivery slot, a contact preference, an appointment time.
Create
Open a case, log a promise to pay, create a work order or book a viewing, with every detail the customer gave already filled in.
Where actions run
Sarj works inside the systems you already run, including Salesforce, SAP, Oracle and core banking platforms, and connects to others through their APIs. Your Sarj deployment team builds and tests each action against your environment.
Keeping actions safe
Verify first
Actions that reveal or change customer data run only after the caller has passed the identity checks you define.
Least privilege
Sarj uses a dedicated integration account limited to the actions your use case needs, and nothing else.
Confirm irreversible steps
Payments, cancellations and changes to personal details are read back and confirmed by the customer before they happen.
Logged for audit
Every action is recorded with the conversation that triggered it, so you can trace any change back to its source. See Call Transcripts & Logs.
