About Sarj

Supported Arabic Dialects

The dialects and language mixes Sarj understands on calls and in chat, and how it adapts to your customers' vocabulary.

Sarj is trained natively on regional Arabic speech. It is not an English model with a translation layer, so it follows the way your customers actually talk: their accent, their vocabulary, and their habit of mixing languages.

Dialects Sarj understands

Najdi

The dialect of central Saudi Arabia, including Riyadh. Common on calls to banks, government services and retailers headquartered in the capital.

Hijazi

The dialect of the western region, including Jeddah, Makkah and Madinah.

Gulf

The dialects of the Eastern Province and neighbouring GCC states.

Modern Standard Arabic

The formal Arabic of written and official communication. Sarj understands it when callers use it and can answer in it where your brand calls for a formal register.

Mixed Arabic and English

Many Saudi customers switch between Arabic and English mid-sentence, especially for product names, numbers and technical terms. Sarj follows the switch without asking the caller to repeat themselves in one language.

Your domain vocabulary

Every industry has words a general model gets wrong: product names, policy types, medical terms, branch names. Sarj can be tuned to your domain vocabulary, such as banking, insurance or healthcare terms, so it recognises them reliably. Your Sarj deployment team gathers these terms with you during discovery.
