Quick Start Guide

What happens between signing with Sarj and your first agent answering real customers, and what your team needs to have ready.

Sarj is deployed with you, not handed over as a blank console. A Sarj deployment team works alongside yours to connect your channels and systems, shape the agent around your process, and take it live in stages. This guide walks through that path so you know what to expect and what to prepare.

Before you start

The fastest deployments start with three things decided up front.

  • One use case to begin with. Pick a high-volume, well-understood conversation such as order status, appointment booking or balance inquiries. Expand once it is live.
  • The systems it needs to touch. The CRM, ERP or core banking system the agent reads from and writes to, and who on your side owns access to each.
  • Where human agents take over. The queue or team that receives handoffs, and the cases that should always go to a person.

The path to go-live

Discovery

Map the conversation

Your deployment team reviews real call recordings or chat logs with you to map how customers actually phrase requests, which dialects they use, and where conversations branch. This becomes the agent's flow.

Agree on success measures

Decide what "working" means before launch: resolution without handoff, time to answer, customer satisfaction, or completed actions in your systems. These are what the dashboards report on later.

Build and connect

Connect your systems

Sarj connects to your telephony through its telephony SDK or standard SIP, and to your back office through ready integrations. See Connect your CRM.

Configure the agent

The agent's knowledge, actions, tone and handoff rules are configured with your deployment team. See Setting up your first Voice Agent.

Test and launch

Test with your own team

Your staff call the agent the way customers do, in their own dialects, and try to break it. Every issue found here is one a customer never meets.

Go live in stages

Start by routing a share of real traffic to Sarj while your current setup handles the rest, then widen it as results hold. Days, not months: a first agent can typically go live on real calls within the first weeks.
